When Goku fell to Earth, Son Gohan found the baby and decided to raise him as a grandson. Knowing the boy to be special, Gohan did his best to instill the boy with all his martial arts knowledge. After a seemingly fatal encounter with Piccolo, Gohan has mysteriously returned to enter the tournament and face the evil once more.
